LAKE DISTRICT TRIPS

Living in Kendal, I am lucky enough to have the Cumbrian Mountains virtually on my doorstep. Coupled with the Howgills and the southern Scottish Uplands being also within a short striking distance, there is never a shortage of places to go when in need of a mountain adventure.  

Below are few accounts of some of the more memorable trips I have made over recent years into the hills around Cumbria.
